Hi @gechopiece,
The encircled image which appears which appears in the header is your Gravatar. It is a theme feature –– you can remove it by going to
MySites->Themes->Customize->Theme Options. Just remove the email address from the text box and click on Publish. You can learn more about it in the “Gravatar” section of your Independent publisher theme page:
https://wordpress.com/theme/independent-publisher-2
Hope this helps, please do let me know if you need any further information.
Thanks!

I have one other question: I tried clearing cache as to update my image when sharing on facebook, it didn’t work. What else can I do? TY

What link are you sharing on Facebook? Is it your homepage https://gechopieceblacksincannabis.wordpress.com/ or a different link from your site?

Hi again,
Facebook uses cached images stored on their servers, thus shows old images until the cache expires. You can force Facebook to update its cache by using their debugger tool. You can go to the Facebook Debugger and paste your specific link to update it by clicking on “Scrape Again”. You can learn more about it here:
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks!
