Remove my user permissions from other blogs

  • Unknown's avatar

I’m a user on a few blogs that aren’t my own (contributor permissions, I think?). But it’s been years since I was active on them (and since the blogs themselves have been active, it seems). Is it possible to remove myself as a user? I see the instructions in the support article (http://en.support.wordpress.com/invite-people/#removing-users), but it doesn’t seem to apply to the user interface I see. It looks like the old WP Admin.

    Thanks!

  • Hi there – Try going here to your My Blogs view. Hopefully you arrive at a list of all the blogs you are a part of. As you mouse over each one you will see some options pop up.

    • Change Blog Address
    • Transfer Blog
    • Leave Blog

The first two options indicate you own the blog, so to effectively leave it you would either need to transfer it to another WordPress.com account or delete the blog.

Let us know if this doesn’t get you where you’d like to be.
