Remove myself from blog

  I’ve made a new blog, created a new account, assigned that account to the new blog and promoted it to administrator. Now, how do I remove my own old account (that I used to create the new blog) from the new blog? I’m looking for a solution that preferrably doesn’t involve deleting my old account… :)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi. From http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/ :

  Transfer Note: For security purposes, there is no way to remove the original creator/owner from their blog. As such, if you wish to transfer your blog to another user/account, please follow the instructions here.

  So, if I understand the support documentation correctly, you cannot remove Old Username as an admin from New Blog. You should have transferred ownership instead. I suggest you contact staff directly to avoid any complications:

  Turns out transferring a blog to another user was the same thing as removing yourself from it.
