Remove Non working slider

  I have a Slider that is NOT in my home (front) page. I cannot figure out how to remove it and it is not working. It has only one image, despite my having several sticky posts. It appears only when you click on the MUSINGS menu tab. My blog is http://www.JanrSsor.com

  You have a post set as a sticky post with a featured image also set on that post. You need edit this post, http://janrssor.wordpress.com/2013/02/18/2033/ , and “unstick” it and remove the featured image (module at lower right in post editor window).

  Greetings. I’ve overcome quite a number of hurtles (for me) with the Hero theme and have a much better understanding of how blog/website creation is accomplished in WordPress. I’ll be writing a brief synopsis and simple step by step instructions to transform the default Hero theme into what it looks like in the sample.

  Until then, however, I need assitance with:

  1) my slider is not moving; and
  2) I need to insert text under the three callouts.

  I’ve unchecked the sticky box for my featured images tagged to my Home page, as indicated above. It still does not move. Perhaps it only starts sliding once I shift the blog/website into public view…?

  Since I’m on the forum, I’d also like assistance with the callout text too; would save me the trouble of searching beyond the 45 minutes I’ve already expended. Thanks!
