Remove old comments

I still have comments showing up in my notifications for sites that I no longer have. How do I remove the long list of old comments from showing up?

When you say notifications for sites that I no longer have, are you referring to sites that you deleted, or that you are no longer an admin on? If so, what are the URLs of the sites? I would be happy to take a look for you.
Also, are you saying that you are still receiving notifications from these sites or that you still see the previous notifications in your notification bar even though you are no longer apart of the site. Let me know. Thanks!

The sites have been deleted. All content gone. No more hosting and soon, even the domain names will be gone.
I am not receiving new notifications but still see the previous notifications (many, many of them) and old comments in my notification bar. This is a huge long list and it seems like I should be able to get rid of all these since they no longer pertain to my on-line presence.
Did you still need the sites URLs? -
I just noticed in the original question for some reason it says I need help with my blog which must automatically added by Word Press because this is not the blog/blogs I am referring to. Just FYI.

There is no current way to remove the comment notifications from your comment bar completely. Although, as you receive new notifications, the current old ones will drop down and eventually out of sight.
The suggestion to clear out notifications has been posed in the recent past, and so I take it will be something our developers consider if we continue to get similar feedback in the future.
