Remove Old Domain

  I recently updated my site from Reds-head.com to Reds-adventures.com

  How can I delete the old domain though? I dont want reds-head.com redirecting to reds-adventures.com

  Hi,

  You need to first map Reds-adventures.com to your site using these steps:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  After you have done this you need to change over reds-adventures.com as your primary domain and then go about deleting the older domain.. all of this from your domain settings.

  Is this the same method if both these domains were created on WordPress? I apologize, I’m not very savvy when it comes to this stuff.

  Thats fine @lttlered, am on a learning path too :)

  If both domains are created on WordPress, you will need to make the desired domain as Primary.

  You may delete your older domains from
  https://wordpress.com/purchases , after moving to the new domain.

  So I set reds-adventures.com as my primary domain, but when I go to red-head.com I don’t see a delete option in purchases?
