Remove old domain from search engines

I transitioned to a new domain a little while after creating the site up (removing the .wordpress from the URL), and I have since made a number of minor improvements to my search engine optimisation with Google webmaster tools. It has been quite a while since I started using my new domain.

When I search certain terms however I am finding that both of my domains are appearing. This only seems to happen on certain searches though.
I’m finding this on searches such as ‘Arron Barnett website’ in Google.

I believe I’m right in saying that 301 redirects are not possible, so is there a way I can sort this problem out and either remove my old domain from the search results or stop it from working?

My website is arronbarnett.com (or arronbarnett.wordpress.com)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
