Remove Old Posts

    Hello,
I’m resurrecting my old blog, but want to archive/remove my 500 or so old posts. I don’t want to delete them, just archive them or move them to another site. Is there a way to mass-transfer or mass-get-off-of-this-one-and-on-to-that-one posts?

Alternatively, I could start a brand new site but I can’t figure out how to move my domain name to a new site. [i.e. my old site is emilyrockstheroad.com but I want to move the domain ’emilyrockstheroad.com’ from the emilyrockstheroad.wordpress.com site to the emilycbaker.wordpress.com site. ]

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hello –

When I look at emilycbaker.wordpress.com I am only seeing 4 posts. Should I be checking another site?

On WordPress.com there is an option to edit posts with a bulk feature. You can also create an export file to safely keep them off the site, but still be able to import them back on to it later if needed.

Connecting the domain is no problem. You will first add a hosting plan to the account. Those plans, features, and costs are outlined on https://wordpress.com/pricing/ I would get started on the personal option as you can always upgrade further down the road if that’s indicated.
