Remove old site name from my profile

    I have closed my site: emergentconservatism and I have created a new profile that is connected to RepublicanRenegades. But my old identity keeps appearing as contributor under my articles even though my new profile is Ruth Ellen Johnson. How do I completely remove emergentconservatives from my identity and profile?

    Hi,

    I see that you did in fact delete the site, emergentconservatism.wordpress.com. republicanrenegades.com does not appear to be hosted here on WordPress.com. In any case, I don’t see any website associated with your WordPress.com account.

    Although, WordPress.com sites can be deleted, WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted. However, you can give the account a different email address and leave it inactive. The following page has more information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
