Remove Page Date and Title How?
-
I know there is a simple tutorial on removing the page date and title somewhere on these forums, but I can’t find it.
I found one that requires changing something in the body tags, but I have no idea how to do that.
Anyone know?

No – I just signed up today, so I’m unfamiliar.

Thank you for any help!

Well, what you want to do isn’t dead simple; it requires fluency in CSS and the paid CSS upgrade. Do NOT buy the CSS upgrade until you have already learned CSS and tested what you want to do in the free preview, because there is virtually no support for it.

That is true when self-hosted using the software downloaded from wordpress.org, but not here on the free-hosting service, wordpress.com. Things here are far more restrictive.
Here, as rain says, you would need to buy the CSS upgrade, but, after looking, both page titles and post titles are controlled by
#content .post h2which means that if you turn it off, not only will you lose the page titles, but you will lose the post titles as well. As far as page date, I see no page dates on mistylook. There are dates on posts on the main page though. The difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1

Ah yes! I can just publish what WAS a post as a page and the date will go away. Thanks!
Installing WP on our server will be a VERY good thing – as soon as we have some help with building the DB :)
Thanks to all that posted.

The DB, isn’t that difficult as long as your host has MySQL, and during the wordpress install, it sets up all the stuff in the DB automatically. It’s then just a matter of exporting your blog from here, and importing it to the new site. Links can also be imported very easily.
