remove page headers/titles from home page

I just love the design shown in the preview for the Edin template. I’m trying to make my site look somewhat similar. One thing (of several) I’m having trouble with is removing the page header from the front or home page. For instance, i want the page I’ve set up to the be the home page to be the page visitors land on when clicking my site name. I was able to successfully do so but there’s a big “Home” title right below the page image header. I don’t think it’s necessary to title the home page and would love to remove this.

Thanks in advance for a little help.

    Hey there,

If you are referring to this Home button here: http://prntscr.com/knknm0 it is actually a Custom Link menu item within you Primary Menu. It can be removed from your Primary Menu by heading to the Menus section of your Customizer, selecting Primary from the Menus list and from within selecting the Home menu item and hitting the red Remove button at the bottom.

Let me know if I have misunderstood in any way or if there is anything that you require further clarification on.

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers
