remove "posted by"

Hello Guys,
Pls. help, I tried removing “posted by” using Custom CSS
.entry-meta {display: none; }
.post-author {display: none; }
.entry-author-link { display: none; }but still doesn’t give any changes. I’m using ascent theme, “posted by” still shown in my blog post.
Thanks in advance.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That theme does not exist at wordpress.COM.
You are posting to the wrong support forum.
That site is not hosted here at wordpress.COM.
Our WordPress.COM support docs do not refer to it.
And, we do not provide support for that site here.WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

Hello, thanks for your response, I’m a registered user of wordpress.com thru hostgator, I just used the ascent theme. I ‘m just asking for help!
