Remove purchased theme

  Hello. I purchased a theme for my blog in January of 2016, but I no longer want the blog, and I can’t delete it until this theme is removed from my ‘Purchases.’ It doesn’t require an upgrade, so I hope you can easily remove it for me. Thanks.

  Hi @downtonabbie, If we remove the theme for you, you won’t be able to get it back. Please confirm you understand, and we’ll go ahead and remove the theme for you, then you can delete the site.

  Do note too, though, that if you delete the site, its name will not become available again, so do not use that option to “start over”.

  Another option is to simply make site private — no one except you could access it, and only when you are logged in. That way if you ever want to use it (and its theme) again, you can.

  I’ve removed the theme as requested, so you should now be able to delete your site.
