Remove "recent posts" from the homepage

  Hello.

  I’m using Ixion’s theme. I would like to remove “recent posts” section from my website’s homepage. How could I do this?

  Hi solucionessociologicas,

  Have you tried changing the widget settings? I’m sure it can be customized by setting the widget even though I could not view your website at the moment

  You can access your widgets from the My Sites → Customize. (You’ll see that option to the right of Themes on that menu.)

  Hello there, It sounds like you might be using Ixion’s special homepage template. https://wordpress.com/theme/ixion

  Because your site is marked Private, I’ve gone ahead and tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Staff can view all sites on WordPressdotcom, including Private sites.

  The Ixion theme doesn’t provide the option to remove recent posts from the front page however, they could be hidden with custom CSS:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/

  Your site is currently using the Free plan, which doesn’t support custom CSS.
