remove "renew domain" request on my front page

    I purchased a new domain name and changed my primary URL to the new domain. When my old domain expired, a request to renew the old domain appeared on the front page of my site. I cancelled the old domain name, but I still can’t view my site because of the request page. How do I get that renewal request to go away so I can view the site again?
