remove search and recent entries widgets

  am setting up new blog and want to remove search widget and the recent entries from sidebar, but cant work out how

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Which blog are your referring to please? The one linked to your username doesn’t seem to be the one in question.

  Go to Appearance > Widgets. If you see the widgets in question, click ont the arrow next to each title and then on Delete.

  If you don’t see any widgets at all, it means your theme is displaying its default widgets. See here for instructions on how to remove them:
