    Hi there,

I can see that you’ve set the Home Page template to the front page of your site. Gateway automatically searches for posts to display in a grid on that pages that have that template and, as you have no posts, a search box is displaying instead.

To get rid of that search box, you have the following options:

    • Publish some posts and tag them as featured to display on your front page.
    • Assign the Default Template to your front page. This can be done via the Page Options panel in the page’s editor.

Let me know how you get on with that or if you have any extra questions.

@siobhyb I don’t want it to be a post that people can click on and read. I did the first option you said. Can u please tell me if you are able to click on the post. Thank you

I also tried the second option. The only problem with that is My header changes and I cannot only make it one picture for one page if that makes sense.

@justtashileena: If you don’t wish for any posts to display in that area then remove the featured tag. The theme will only display the search box if it detects that there are no posts on your site whatsoever.

Let me know if that’s clear!
