Remove self as administrator

  I would like to be removed as administrator of the blog and leave it under the control of the other active administrators. When I try to remove myself as a user I get an error saying that I cannot be removed.

  Are you the Administrator who originally registered the blog?

  Blogs belong to the person with the username account that originally registered the blog.

  You can transfer the account to another username account. Here’s how: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account

  Note: transferring a blog can’t be undone. Once you select the Transfer Blog option, you’ll receive an email message to confirm the transfer. The blog transfer will not take place until you click the link in the email message.
