Remove 'share this' social media buttons

  How do I remove the social media buttons and ‘like this’ button that came with the theme? These buttons are in the wrong place and when I add a footer widget everything goes underneath these buttons.

  I want to be able to place social media buttons and ‘like this’ button to a location of my choosing.
