Remove side bar that says, "register, log in, etc."

All of a sudden there is a sidebar on every page with a number of bullets:
    > Register
    > Entries RSS
    > Comments RSS
    > WordPress.com

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to remove that sidebar. I don’t know any coding. Can someone help me figure out how to make that sidebar disappear? I *think* it has something to do with widgets but I haven’t been able to figure out a solution. I need a step by step answer.

    Thank you!

    Hi summergathercole!
This should solve the issue for you.

    1. login to the WordPress.com account related to this blog
    2. in your new admin (from the Stats page, for example) you will see a “Customize” link under the ‘Look and Feel’ section – click that
    3. on the Customize page, click the “Widgets” section
    4. on the Widgets page, expand the “Sidebar” section
    5. you should see a section called “Meta” in that sidebar
    6. expand that “Meta” section and click the Delete link on the left side
    7. on the right side of your screen, where you can view the the changes to your site prior to saving, confirm that the widget is removed. If so…
    8. Click the “Save & Publish” link near the top left of the page

This should remove that widget for you, hope it helps!
