Here’s the link to the page with the problem. How do I get rid of this sidebar? I just want a clean front page with no sidebars. I appreciate any suggestions. Sorry, not very good at this – still learning.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi, @libraryladywrites

This seems to be the default setting or style provided by the theme for the page.

If this is not just the style that the theme you’ve used provides then you can change it to a different style by going to your site’s setting Site pages and changing the Page Attribute’s page template to something that says Full width by editing the front page.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thank you.
    Best Regards.

    Hi @libraryladywrites.

It looks like you are using the Dara theme for your site. You can find out a bit more about how to setup the front page in the the Dara theme here:
    https://wordpress.com/theme/dara

If you don’t need all of the options the directions above show (featured content, testimonials, etc), you could also set the page you are currently using for the front page to use the full width template.

You can do this by editing the page, then selecting “Full Width” under Page Options on the right hand side.

    Have a great day!
