Remove site title from view

  I understand the importance of having a site title and tagline for Search Engine reasons, but it looks naff having it at the top of my homepage. Is there a way to hide it whilst still officially keeping it functioning?

  When you create a page, the first thing you’ll typically do is give it a title. Some themes are designed to show the page title on the page itself, while others don’t. If you want to hide the title from appearing on your site, you can do so using the Site Editor. To hide page or post titles using the method described in this guide, your site must use a theme that supports the Site Editor.
