remove sites from account
-
I have 2 blogs that are linked to my account. Both I created, both I don’t have access to anymore. Can you remove them for me? The first is: http://harbourclubdelray.com/ and the second is: https://cuestarsarena.com/
-
Hi there,
the first one
http://harbourclubdelray.com/
appears as not registered:
https://www.whoishostingthis.com/#search=harbourclubdelray.comAs for the second, it appears that is hosted with HostGator. You can get in touch with their support here:
https://helpchat.hostgator.com/Hope this helps!

I think there’s some confusion. I’m not talking about their registration. I just want them out of my WordPress account and dashboard. There’s people that have to do that for us correct?

Hi there,
I just want them out of my WordPress account and dashboardCould you elaborate further? What is the URL of the dashboard you are referring to, where you see them?
-
Just to clarify, if they were hosted here at WordPress.com the instructions here would be what you are looking for:
https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/ -
-
On my global dashboard at dashboard.wordpress.com
These are sites I am no longer involved with, one is still active, but the new runner’s of the site refuse to remove me from the administrative side of things, so I still get plugin notifications, jetpack alerts, etc. I wish it were that easy to just delete each site.
I’ve seen other posts where admins could go into my account and remove them for me as there isn’t any setting that I’ve seen that I can just say, be gone.

@harbourclubdelraybeach I have removed these from your account as requested. :)
@anastas10s These were self-hosted WordPress.org sites, but they were connected to WordPress.com by way of the https://jetpack.com plugin, where managing your site via WordPress.com is one of the features. -

Glad your issue was resolved @harbourclubdelraybeach :)
staff-blorbo would the following tool offer any help for troubleshooting in the future or otherwise? Thanks for your and @darciemg ‘s insight on this!
https://jptools.wordpress.com/debug/?url=http://cuestarsarena.com/ -
@anastas10s, yes, in Debug, the user can see the Jetpack connection status and lots of other useful information.
To remove a Jetpack-connected site, they will want to follow these steps:
https://jetpack.com/support/disconnect-jetpack-sites/. If that doesn’t work, you can justmodlookthe thread; we usually can help with these. -
