Remove tagline 'bar'

There is a blue “bar” below the header on my site containing my tagline. … I’d like to change the color to black or disable it altogether, but can’t figure out how. I’ve paid for the custom upgrade, incidentally. I’m using the Selecta theme.

I’ll flag this thread so it’s moved to the CSS Forum for you. Please read this > When you alter a theme’s stylesheet, you only need to put in the Editor the modification/additions to the CSS, not the entire thing. Read this for more info:

Take advantage of your browser’s developer tools. Under Firefox, install Firebug. For Internet Explorer, install the Developer Toolbar.

If you change the color to black, then the font disappears. Do you want the font in white perhaps? The top keeps it but changes the font to white, background to black, deletes the top and bottom borders and adjusts the padding and positioning a little.
#single-header { background: #000000; border: none; color: #FFFFFF; padding: 30px 0 0 40px; }The following gets rid of it entirely.
