Remove Tags/Header from pages
-
How do I remove the tag information on “pages”. Check out my site, Mugslug.com. If you look on the “About, Donations, Merchandise, Contact” pages, there is a header that is similar to a “post”. I want that to be blank. It’s tagging it with the category and date. I don’t want anything but the name of the pages. Why does it treat it like a post?

Are you hosted at WordPress.com? Our situation is different from those of blogs hosted elsewhere, so that will change the answer we give you.

You need to be over at http://wordpress.org as that’s the support site for the software. These forums are for the blogs hosted here at wp.com as we’re running different software. A good suggestion is to always read stickies labeled “Please Read Me First Before Posting” as they usually contain important information.

Hi, how do i remove tags from my blog … I misspelt something, say Wallmart.
Even though I realize the mistake and I unclick it so it does not show up alongside my post that has info on Walmart, the word “Wallmart still shows up as a category on my blog pages.
It’s embarrassing.
Can someone tell me how to remove them? -
Do you mean tags or categories? I think the only way you can get rid of tags is to edit your post and delete or modify them in the space beneath your editor. If you mean categories, you can go to Dashboard > Manage > Categories and edit or delete your categories there.
