remove the footer blog of wordpress

want to remove the “Blog at WordPress.com” from my footer. I dont want to use as a blog but as a website. I’ve already buy the mapping to change it to .com but I need to remove first the “Blog em WordPress.com. | The Harmonic Theme” before put it online. How do I do this? even if I need to pay more, just let me know what I can do. I know that it is possible as some frinds pay someone to do their website and doesn’t appear.

You can’t do that. Your blog will be suspended if you do.
Your friends either have blogs that are not hosted here, and thus not subject to the Terms of Service here, or your friends have blogs that are going to be suspended.

but are not blogs, are websites! and I don’t want a blog, I and an website for work! when I decide to change it, in the wordpress first page they said you can make a blog or a website…. I want a website, not a blog!

All WordPress.com bloggers are required to maintain the Admin Bar (the dark bar that appears at the top of WordPress.com sites when logged in) as well as credit links in the footer, even our VIP bloggers. Please do not hide or alter text or links for the footer credits or the toolbar. Modifying the style of the footer text (i.e. colors and font size) is fine as long as it’s still readable. Using CSS, you can also add content like a copyright notice to the existing footer. If you would like to do that, you can ask in the CSS Customization forum and Staff or our community volunteers would be happy to help you do that.

Please do not hide or alter text or links for the footer credits or the toolbar. Modifying the style of the footer text (i.e. colors and font size) is fine as long as it’s still readable.

As others have already noted, you may not delete the footer credit, but you can alter its appearance as long as it remains legible.
