Remove the Like button

I know this is a question asked thousands of time on this Forum… but I’m still not good in solving this problem! (and I feel a bit stupid for that)

Well, I’m using the Manifest theme and I’d like to remove the Like button, the one with the star symbol.

On Settings –> Sharing, I have two options:
    1) Show the Reblog button on posts
    2) Don’t show the Reblog button on posts
If I mark the first option, the Like button appears on all pages except the first (main?) page. If I choose the second one, the Like button appears on first page only.

How to remove it from all pages??

    Many thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello,
So, You will go into Settings>Sharing.
Now above the Reblog Button, you will see WordPress.com likes are : 1. On for all posts 2. Turned on per Post.

You will want to click the “Turned on per post”. This will allow to you turn on the like button if wanted when writing your post. It will be off unless you choose for it to be turned on.

Once you have clicked the “Turned on per post”, scroll down to the bottom to save changes that were made.

Thank you lexiornelas! After this change, the like button remained on the “About” page only: I’ve deleted that page! :-)

NOTE: The like button and reblog button will still appear in the Reader for logged in WordPress.com users.

Ah, really? I’m not used to that “blog mentality”: can I fully disable this feature?

No we can’t disable it in the Reader.

Well, I know websites where this button does not appear anywhere!

    (made with WordPress.com of course)
