Remove the original admin?

  Hi there,
  My girlfriend just started her new blog on my computer, but I was still logged in.

  So I am now the admin of this blog, but I do not want to be. I have added her as admin as well, but can i remove myself as admin?

  I am the ‘founder’ of the blog, so at this moment, It is not working using the regular procedure (Dashboard -> Users …)

  Any help?

  You need to give the blog away – you can’t leave a blog that you own – when you give it away you will automatically be deleted from the blog – if your girlfriend wants you to help with the blog in the future she would need to add you to the blog (Editor should be fine unless you need to change themes)

  Good that you did not delete the blog since that would have killed the name forever (URL’s are not recycled at WordPress.COM) – then tried to register it with the other account
