Remove the word “Posts” from above my 1st post on my homepage…

  Hi all,
  New here, hope everyone is well.
  I wonder if there’s any way to remove the word “Posts” from directly above the 1st post on my home page.
  It only shows there.
  I’m not talking the top tabs on the desktop version of my site, I just mean directly above the 1st post’s title.
  And also I don’t mean in the sidebar menu, just the home page directly above the 1st post’s title.
  I’ve searched everywhere and the closest I found was a post here in the help forum that was closed years ago and the fix with some custom CSS that didn’t work.
  Any help is appreciated!

  Sorry, just realized I forgot to add that I am using the WordPress Twenty Seventeen theme.

  Please note that we can only help with WordPress.com sites on this forum. If your site is hosted elsewhere, you’re using a self-hosted WordPress.org site.

  Sorry, I didn’t realize this was just for WP hosted sites.
  
  I’ll go ask in the .org site.
