Trying to find out how we can change the default on the social share, recently WordPress made changes and now when someone shares using something like twitter it ads a “via @wordpressdotcom” which is not only misrepresentation but a great injustice to the blog authors.

The blog is not via @wordpressdotcom, the blog is hosted on @wordpressdotcom, but it is via the author or the site. How do we diable or change this…

SideNote: If its not supported can we revert to your old social share? If we can’t you might want to add an upgrade option, not as if those of us using premium themes and upgrades havn’t already paid more the self hosting but just a thought should the guys in the board room be short sighted.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t change it. You can, however, take the prefab Twitter share button out, make your own, and put that in.
