remove the words "Category Archives" but retain the category name

  Hello, I want to remove the words “Category Archives” but retain the category name i.e.:
  Now: Category Archives: Fashion
  Prefer: Fashion

  . I tried the following CSS:

  .title-Category Archives {
  display: none;
  }

  and,

  .archive-title {
  display: none;
  }

  But it hasn’t worked. Please help.

  Woohoo, I see you figured this out and have hidden Category Archives and kept the category name in Oxygen using the following CSS.

  body.category.archive h1.page-title {
      line-height: 0;
      visibility: hidden;
  }
  body.category.archive h1.page-title span {
      display: block;
      line-height: 1em;
      visibility: visible;
  }
