  Hi @jennavanloon, if you won’t be using this username ever again, it’s probably easiest to change it:
  https://wordpress.com/support/change-your-username/

  Otherwise, have you thought about using an alias? For an example with gmail, instead of using this:

  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Use this:

  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  You can make that +1, +whatever, +doesnotmatter … whatever letters or numbers make the most sense to you. Gmail will ignore the plus sign and anything after it. But we won’t, so it’s in effect a second email account that delivers to the same address.

  And other email providers have other alias options.
