https://jesseleeward.wordpress.com/
the above website is mine. i have a passport and two forms of ID to prove it is mine.
I would like it to be removed because i can no longer access it.
When i moved to USA from New Zealand, Microsoft would constantly send me notifications, telling me that my email was being accessed from an unfamiliar location.
I was using my email from american IP addresses because i had moved to america.Microsoft kept sending me notifications saying that someone was trying to access my account from overseas and eventually i lost access to that email.
That is the email affiliated with the above word press website.
It is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
or
(email visible only to moderators and staff).Anyway, this worpress is dated and very incomplete as a website. i do not like having my identity associated witha website out of my control.
Please remove it soon.
Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, only the site owner can delete their site so you’ll want to fill out the account recovery form in order to regain access. Give as much information as you can, including the old email address and the one you can be contacted at currently https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form
-
Hi there,
If you’ve misplaced your log-in information, the email address or username you’ve entered isn’t recognized, you can access your account using the Account Recovery Form which is accessible by clicking the “Need More Help?” button on the Password Reset page. On this form, you can provide certain pieces of information, under Proof of Ownership, to verify that you are the owner of the blog.
And then you can delete your site.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks! -
Well you are going to have to get someone higher up to just override that process and delete the account.
I am an American citizen and failure to do so will turn it into a legal issue of identity theft because my image is being depicted outside of my control.
-
I have added “modlook” tag for the staff assistance. You will get a reply soon from the staff.
-
Please be aware that WordPressdotcom has a strict policy in place preventing anyone but the site owner gaining access to a website. If you cannot provide the information that is requested in the Account Recovery process that @neelgajjar and I linked to, you may not be able to regain access to the account in order to delete it. But let’s now wait for Staff to reply.

Hi jesseleeward93,
Well you are going to have to get someone higher up to just override that process and delete the account.
As @justjennifer and @neelgajjar mentioned, WordPress.com sites and accounts can only be deleted by the owner. If you are unable to login as jesseleeward or reset the password with that username, please fill out the account recovery form in order to recover and delete the site:
Without access to the account email address, this is the only way forward. I appreciate you want to delete the site but this policy is in place for security reasons and cannot be changed.
I can’t share which email address is connected to that account but resetting the password will send an email to the correct address. If you think you still have access to it, it would be worth checking the spam folder in case the password reset email goes there.
@justjennifer and @neelgajjar — appreciate your help, thanks! -
the account associated with the website is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Technically, if a website is using my image, but i have no control over it, then my identity is being used without my consent. I have proof of that the man depicted in this website is me.
I do not want to be locked out of my own account it just happened because of a mistake at Microsoft. Now I am having trouble accessing several websites associated with my old Microsoft account but they are still visible to the general public as affiliated with my identity.
This makes me very unhappy.
But here are two forms of ID confirming my identity. What is depicted on the relevant website is the guy in these photographs (me).
Why is there no option to send images of two forms of ID? I need to be able to send you two forms of legal ID to confirm my identity, otherwise I will have to arrive at the headquarters in California in person to override the process.

Hi there,
We cannot verify an identity with an ID or other legal documents as we never ask for those when someone creates a WordPress.com account. The only thing we ask for is a valid email address and this is the only way to verify proof of ownership.
Also, if you have ever made any purchases to that account you can provide us with a transaction ID in the following form and then we’ll help you recover access to your account:
-
Okay well I’ve opened my bank statements. I don’t believe that i made any purchases on Worpress because the site was free. It has ‘wordpress’ in the URL, indicating it was the free version.
You really need to just take it down. It is definitely mine and you are making this very annoying and difficult for me.
This has been one of a cascade of problems that Microsoft has caused when they blocked me from my own account.

fstat:
That statement is ridiculous. What are you talking about? That’s obscene.
My identity, legally, is attributed to the photographs depicting me on this website. Not in my email. The email is only relevant insofar as the WordPress server is concerned.
The reason I wanted to prove my identity with photographs is because, on a broader legal level, depiction of my person through the photographs on the aforementioned website is something that i am allowed to have a say in. Especially if the photographs of me are accompanied by my real name. You even have a feature on your website where websites are allowed to be reported for using someone else’s identity.
I should not have to tell you this.

Hi jesseleeward93,
My identity, legally, is attributed to the photographs depicting me on this website.
We cannot accept content containing your photo as proof of ownership. The reason for this is any content published online can be copied and then published elsewhere, which makes it impossible to identify the original owner.
I’ve sent an email to the address on your Account Settings page with more information about the next steps — please reply to me there.
-
Can you please send the email again. It hasn’t come through.
Thank you for your support.
The website is not just claiming to depict me. It is claiming to BE ME. This is no loner applicable.
I have contacted Automattic HQ over the issue. I might contact them via telephone soon.
-
We have sent the email again. Contacting us via telephone won’t help much since we aren’t in a call center, but if you’ll respond to our email we’ll go from there. Talk to you soon.
