Remove time stamp on Liquorice theme

  How do I remove the date/time from the NEW Liquorice theme? I updated the CSS and used the .date-comments .fl {
  display:none;
  }

  but i didnt work. It worked for my old them but not for the new Liquorice theme.

  That code will not work with that theme. CSS is theme specific and Liquorice requires this:

  .date .meta-prep, .date .entry-date {
  display: none;
  }

  Just so you know. Each theme designer decides how they are going to organize the markup (XHTML) and how they are going to label things in the CSS. That means that the CSS for each theme is unique.

  Two quick ones for you if you have a sec.. 1. I made an About Me page and it has a comment box. How can take the comment box off just that static page?

  2. When you click a category it says “category archives: xyx” . How can I take that text off?

  1. Open the page in the editor, go to the “screen options” tab at upper right and select “discussion”. Now scroll down below the text area in the page editor and you will see a discussion module where you can disable comments and trackbacks for that particular page.

  2. This will remove that.

  Thanks much again!! We’re on a roll!!

  I was doing research on drop down menus and found a post where you informed the person that they were only possible with a specific theme, but that was from 2009.

  1. Are drop down options available for (the top menu) with the Liquorice them?

  With the custom menu feature here, you can have dropdowns, add categories, tags, whatever you want to them. It gives you maximum flexibility.
