Remove Time stamp/Archive "description words" with DePo Masthead Theme
-
Greetings,
How do I hide Date/Time of posts with DePo Masthead theme?
I would also like to hide the words “Archive for the ‘________’ Category” when people click my categories.
The CSS I used is not working.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This should do it but make sure and check all the other pages to make sure it doesn’t cause any strangeness elsewhere.
.category .pagetitle { display: none; } -

Oops, sorry. I forgot that. This will do it. I added some bottom margin to the post title otherwise it was sitting right on top of the post content after removing that line of text.
#content small { display:none; } #content h2 { margin-bottom: 20px; } -
Thanks sacred path! I realized that not having text under the Headline takes away from the posts a little. It generally reads “In ‘Uncategorized’ on April 27, 2011 at 5:08 pm” under the posts (pre your code).
Is there a way to take off only the TIME (ie “at 5:08pm”) to leave “In ‘CATEGORY LINK’ on DATE”?
I tried fooling with the above code myself to no avail. :-(

Sorry, not on DePo Masthead. That single line is all under the same selector in the CSS so there isn’t anyway to remove just part of it.
