    Hi there,

    Your site is marked as private – If you don’t mind granting access, I’m happy to take a look and try to help!

    Hello. You’ve got it. Thank you so much. I appreciate it :) Hopefully something can be done.

    Hi there @stolentino789, you shouldn’t need to grant permission to volunteers to view your Private site to receive CSS assistance. Staff normally review the CSS forum for threads but in this case we should have tagged it for their attention and assistance as they are able to see all sites here on WordPressdotcom, including those marked Private by their owner. I’ve gone ahead and tagged this thread accordingly.

  • eozolins87 – Please do not ask people for access to their site. In this scenario, the best action is to add the Modlook tag and then staff can view the site.

    justjennifer – Thanks for your help.

  • eozolins87 – I should’ve mentioned that since the user mentions their theme you could test that out and see if you can help them, and maybe not need to actually view what they have set up.

  • stolentino789 –

    Go to My Site – Customizer – CSS and add

    .timestamp {
    	display: none;
    }

    .h5.date {
    	display: none;
    }

    That should remove the unwanted piece on your posts. Let me know if more help is needed.

    @justjennifer staff-zinnia Thank you for the clarification, I’m sorry I didn’t realize this was an inappropriate request! I will be sure to tag modlook in similar scenarios going forward.

  • eozolins87 – No worries. We appreciate your help here :)

    Hi @justjennifer staff-zinnia , thank you for the advice. I’ll keep that in mind.

    staff-zinnia , I tried the CSS code as per your instruction and the timestamp is still visible. Is there something else I should do or am doing wrong?

    @eozolins87
    , no worries about it. i appreciate you reaching out to help. your input is still helpful as the timestamp is still visible even after writing the CSS.

    Thanks everyone. :)

  • Hi there,

    I don’t see that CSS added to your site at all, and your site is on the Watson theme at the moment, not Personal. Did you decide to go with a different theme?

    To add custom CSS to your site, go to My Site ->Customize and click on Custom CSS. Then paste the code Liz gave above on a new line in the editor box on the left and click the Publish button at the top.

    I did notice a typo in the code provided to you above that might have prevented it from working, though. I’ve fixed that in the post above, should you want to try again.

    hi @kokkieth. ooh? let me try again. I havent changed themes, I was just playing around with others in the mean time.

    Ill try it again. thank you so much!

  • Glad we could help. The CSS to change this will be different for each theme, so if you end up settling on a different theme and need new CSS code for it, just update us here.
