Remove title from top of page but not from tab

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to remove the title of a page from the top of the page but keep the title in the navigation (tabs and widgets).
For example, I don’t want “Home” at the top of my home page, but I want the tab and page widget to say “Home.”

Create a custom menu to display your pages. Then empty the title fields of any pages which you don’t want to to display the titles on. The slugs will remain in the page URLs.
For example, I don’t want “Home” at the top of my home page, but I want the tab and page widget to say “Home.”
I don’t know if this is a good example, because typically the homepage is the posts page, not a static page, and there is no title field to empty. The default “Home” link present on many themes will disappear if you create and display a custom menu, unless you add a link to it in the menu.
Does your pages widget include a “Home” link? -
I do have a custom menu, and there is no “title attribute” for the homepage. When I remove the “navigation” label, the page disappears from the menu. When I remove the title from the page in the dashboard under “pages,” it removes the title from the page but in the pages widget it says “#1 (no title)”. Is there a way to get this to say “Home”?
Btw, my homepage is a static page not my blog page.

Now I understand. No, you can’t modify the Pages widget to display a non-existent title. List Pages Shortcode would, I think, display the link to that page the same way. You can easily create an editable list of pages in a page and paste it into a text widget, but it won’t be dynamic.
