Remove Title Hover from Projects on the Home Page in Port
-
Hi,
In the Port theme I want remove the TITLE HOVER from the Project section of the Homepage but still have the images as links.
I’m quite new to this and taking over from someone who put it together.
On the home page there is a section for projects with 6 photos covering the sections. When I put the cursor over any of these images it blurs and brings up a title to then click and link… however I do not want the hover to happen as I will embed the title on the images.
This is not my site but give an example of what I want.
On this, they have the HOVER TITLES over the photographs https://cathrineboman.no/
How do I get rid of this hover but still have the photos as links to projects?
Thanks

Hi there!
I see you’ve added the text onto your images. One question — Do you mean you want the images not to do anything upon hover? Or still do the blur effect but not the text that appears?
If you can clarify, I can take a look! :)
Also, Port has its own support forum where the theme creator can answer questions, so that could be a great spot for getting the best solution for the theme specifically, if you’d like to ask there: https://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/port

Hi,
Thanks, I added the text to deal with the problem (as the hover cant be seen on Safari). I want rid of the Text and the blur effect.
I will try the Port forum too.

Hi Neil!
You can add the following snippet to the CSS panel of the Customizer to remove the hover effect and the title from your projects on the home page:
#content .project.small a:hover img{ -webkit-transform: none; -moz-transform: none; opacity: 1; } #content .project.small .title span { visibility: hidden; }Let me know how you get on with that or if any extra questions come up. :)
