Remove TLD domain mapping record that's associated to the subscription
-
Hi there,
I realised what I did after the fact where I wanted to add a subdomain but instead associated the TLD and now WordPress want to manage the DNS. Unlike a separate purchase I can’t cancel it as it is ‘included’.
Is it possible to remove this association so that the included mapping has an available slot to add my subdomain?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I have tagged this as Modlook so that a staff could assist you further, and get a better look at your account.
Please be patient as they go through all requests in the order received.
Thanks!

Will you please provide the specifics such as (1) the exact URL of the TLD and the (2) URL of the sub domain that you refer to? Doing that up front means you will not experience an back and forth information exchange delay in getting the support you need.
There are 3 ways to add a custom domain to your blog. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
Note: Mapping a subdomain (for a domain with an existing website) to your WordPress.com blog – if you already have a website you don’t want to affect, and you want to add a blog to it under a subdomain (for example, blog.yourgroovydomain.com).

Hi there,
I’ve removed the mapping upgrade from your site and restored the free domain in your plan.
Also note that as you own the Business Plan you can get help with issues like these via live chat. You don’t need to post in the public forums for support. You can reach live chat via this link:
