remove twitter button when people click 'follow' at your blog

    hi, i try to remove a private twitter button which i had no longer connect my wordpress with the twitter. however, when people click ‘follow’ the wordpress, the twitter button is appear when people click follow my blog.

    may i know how to remove the twitter account?

    i had remove the personal account long time ago, even from the personal twitter account but it is still appear when people click ‘follow’, please advice.

    Hi there,

    when people click ‘follow’ the wordpress, the twitter button is appear when people click follow my blog.

    I can confirm that you do not appear to have a personal twitter account connected to your site. Can you send me a screen shot of where this twitter button appears when user press the “Follow” button? I followed your blog but did not see it on my end.

    You can upload your screenshot to the media library? After it is successfully, click on the “Edit” link. On the next page, copy the file URL (found in the “Save” box in the upper right) and then paste the URL here.

    i can still see the twitter button upon clicking follow.

    There can be a few different “follow” buttons. Can you tell me which one you are clicking on and where I can find it?

    Once I know what I am supposed to be looking at, I will be happy to take a closer look. :)

    Hi there,

    Thank you for your screenshot; that is a big help. I am going to have our engineering team take a look at this issue, as I can find no reason why that would still appear to visitors who have clicked the “Follow” button for you site.

    Hi there,

    We were able to find the issue and remove this phantom connection from your account. Your personal Twitter account no longer shows to users who are following your blog.

    Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further issues.
