remove underline from link free plan
-
Hello,
I have been struggling to work out if it is possible to remove the underline from links in a free WordPress plan.
I am currently using the Mayland theme and would like to add links to my headings, however I do not want them to be underlined.
Is this possible to do without upgrading, as customising css isn’t available on my current plan.I appreciate any advice anyone is able to share on the matter.
Thank you.

Hi there,
When you add a link using your current theme, it uses the default link styles as defined in the theme source code. In this case all links on the Mayland theme are underlined, so the only way to remove or change that is to use CSS code, which we can help with.
It’s not possible to edit the link settings on the free plan, but if you upgrade we’re happy to help with the CSS code you need to change your font styling for Headings

Hello,
Thanks for your reply, this is really helpful to know.
I’m not currently interested in upgrading my website plan, as I am otherwise happy with the free plan.
As you stated that all links in Mayland theme are underlined, is there a theme available where links aren’t underlined, or is this the case for all themes?
Thank you

Feel free to check other themes and see if you like the styles more. You can try them without activating by clicking on the three dots next to the theme’s name and choosing the option Try&Customize.
This will allow you to see how the theme would look like with your content and how you could customize it.

Hello, thank you for the advice. I have been experimenting with the try and customise option.
When viewing other themes in the try and customise option, it appears that the links are not underlined.
When I activate them on my site, and go to edit my homepage, the links appear underlined.Would you be able to advise me on why I may be experiencing this, and how to resolve this issue please?
Thank you
