Remove User from Blog

  I help maintain a site that has four administrators. I am one of the administrators and need to remove another administrator but when I try to do that I get the message “You don’t have permission to remove this user.” How can I remove this user who is no longer a member of our organization?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If they happen to be the original creator, they are considered the Owner and cannot be removed.

  If so, and you have contact with them, they can transfer ownership to you. Then you can remove them.

  Thank you for your response.

  I created the site and named myself and three other people as administrators. The administrator I want to remove was the president of our organization, so he may have been named “Owner” though I don’t remember doing so.

  He is not tech savvy and I don’t think he’d have a clue how to remove himself. I was hoping there was a way that I could do it, seeing that I am an adminstrator.
