Remove users from private blog?
-
Is there a way to remove someone who is following a private blog? We use a private blog for employee news and would like to remove people who don’t work here anymore.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please see this and scroll down to ‘Removing users from your blog’:

This only shows our authors/contributors, etc. I need to remove those listed as viewers and can’t find a place to view a list of all viewers.

Was your blog originally public? If so, this thread and in particular Timethief’s last but one response might be of help to you – also the article she linked to:

No, it was not public. I am using it for employee communication. We have about 75 employees currently receiving email updates when new posts are added. Some of those employees no longer work here, so I don’t want them to have access to our employee-only blog, but I can’t find a way to remove a viewer.

As the Removing users from your blog instructions don’t cover what you need, I tagged this thread for a Staff response to how to remove a viewer from a private blog. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

Hi there,
You can see a full list of who is authorized to view your private blog, and remove any viewers as necessary, from the Settings -> Reading page in your dashboard:
https://ljbconnections.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php
The list of viewers is at the bottom.
Does that answer your question?
Best!
