remove visitor comment box from pages
-
I need to remove “comments” from Sela. How? Looked around and did so on other WordPress blog. Do NOT want comments on pages. thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Edit the page and disable them on the edit page. I believe “Allow discussion, comments etc” is below the Write Post box in the classic editor.

Appreciate your reply, thank you. But there is no option –even in classic mode to do this for Sela, that I can see in editing page view.
YET THERE MUST BE. Took screen shots to show you but no place to attach here.
here is back end of home page, for instance. I do not want a comments option on any pages. Esp not Home (though doubt you can see this?):

I really hope someone can explain how to fix this problem, because I need to remove those darn comment boxes, too. Thanks in advance for any input!

You can enable and disable comments on free hosted WordPress.com blogs on this page > Settings > Discussion Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/You can override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.

You can reveal it by clicking on Screen Options http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ on the top right corner of your Admin page, and checking the box that says Discussion so the module is included. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules

I have done EVERYTHING you said–yet the “Leave a reply” box is still showing up on my PAGES.
please see: https://movetomontclair.wordpress.com/
Homepage, for example. Someone there must have the answer.
Otherwise I will have to switch theme and really like Sela.
Please help.
