Remove Website without login credentials

    I have a client that has the following website – Linwyntraining. wordpress.com . The business has been closed for a few years and the two main members, Corrie & Wynand would like to close the website as they no longer need it. It was created for them by a person that lived in Watervalboven, Mpumalanga, South Africa. They unfortunately can’t remember the person’s name nor do they have a contact number for him. I explained to them that without the login credentials we will not be able to remove the website from WordPress.com.
    Is there any way that this can be done or is there anyone that can assist with removing the website?
    Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there, only the site’s owner can delete a site here.

    If they do not recall the password and no longer have access to the email address, we have a few more options for them at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form

    They require at last one item of Proof of Ownership.
    Unfortunately the 2 business owners that asked me to assist don’t have any of the required items or any information anymore. So are there any other options?
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Maybe the owner (person who created the website) picks up on this request and maked contact with me.
