remove websites
-
Greetings,
I am unable to remove two websites from my WordPress.com Account. These are not WordPress.com sites nor should they have anything to do with my WordPress.com account; I’m not even quite sure how they got there and since I’ve not logged on in awhile, I can’t say how long they have been there. One (Operation Green Earth) is no longer in existence; the other one (Artisan Soaps) is my Shopify eCommerce site….again, it has nothing to do with WordPress, and shouldn’t even be there. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to remove them! Can anyone help?

Hi there! I’m happy to remove those for you. Can you specifiy the URLs of the site rather than their names?
To clarify how these sites got connected to your WordPress.com account, you must have installed Jetpack on each of them and connected it to this account to use the features:
Let me know if you have any questions about this!

Hello! Thank you for your response. Here are the two URLs:
http://artisansoaps.org and http://operationgreenearth.comThe first one isn’t even a WordPress site, so I can’t even imagine how I got jetpack hooked up with that one! I really do appreciate your help; thank you!

To clarify, I do have a http://www.artisansoaps.org website that I do want and use (not WordPress), but I think the difference is that this one that’s showing up on WordPress.com doesn’t have the www?

Hi there! I’ve removed operationgreenearth.com from your account. Before I remove your other site, can you confirm that you are no longer using Jetpack for that site?
-
Not that I know of, or that I can ever remember. It is a Shopify ecommerce site; I’m not even sure if there is even a way to install Jetpack.
-
Okay! I’ve gone ahead and removed that for you then. :)
I just wanted to make totally sure you weren’t using Jetpack there before disconnecting it.
