remove websites from my account

    Hi,

    I am trying to remove seanfurney.wordpress.com and littleacornsmightlyoaks.wordpress.com registered on my account. I have tried the ‘delete site’ option but it says that a confirmation email will be sent to my email – but no email has arrived. (I have checked my spam).

    I would like to remove both these sites and also have my account reset as if new.

    Did you check your email client spam filter? Are you using Gmail? https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/

    Thanks for the response – Yes, I checked the spam filter and there is nothing there. I also had a look at the link you supplied and it has not helped I’m afraid.

    It is getting really frustrating not being able to action this. How about changing my correspondence email? Maybe that wold work?

    Just a thought.

    I just checked your account and I see you successfully deleted both of those sites. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help. :)

    Thankyou Rachelmcr,

    Yes, the sites have been deleted – I changed my contact email to another one that was “not gmail” and I was able to receive the confirmation mails from WP for deletion.

    I think for some reason gmail does not seem very wordpress friendly – I don’t know, but the problem has been solved.
