Remove white bar at the top of my site

I have a white bar at the top of my website and it is on each page of my website. I don’t know what it is or why it is there but it is partially blocking the menu button on the side. It seems to be right where the a header image would belong. I remember that it wasn’t there at first and then out of nowhere it just showed up and I don’t think I did anything to add it. Please help!

    Hello,

It looks like you may have set a white background color for your header, and the menu selection is also white.

You can set a picture or a different color by clicking “Customize”, then selecting either “Colors & Backgrounds” (to change the background color) or “Header Image” (to put a picture up there). Once you do that, everything should show up.

Hopefully that helps. If not, let us know and we’ll see what we can do to make your site look right!

I realized the “menu” text was sitting on top of the white header, not being cut off by it, but because they were both white they blended into each other. But I changed the palette from white to black and now it’s good! So thank you! But I was wondering if there is a way to remove the bars altogether, especially the one on the bottom since it is so big? I would rather just have my big picture on each page without any borders on the bottom or top. Thanks!
