Remove White Bar in the Footer
-
There is about a half inch white bar at the bottom of my website right above the footer info. Is there any way to make this black and remove it?
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Custom Design – Frequently Asked Questions
May I remove credit links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com’, theme, font, or toolbar links?
All WordPress.com bloggers are required to maintain the credit links, even our VIP bloggers. Please do not hide or alter text or links for the footer credits or the toolbar. Modifying the style of the footer text (i.e. colors and font size) is fine as long as it’s still readable. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions -
(This might not be that helpful, but) that empty white bar is the Middle Row widget area. I haven’t used the theme, but perhaps you can check whether the theme’s options allow you to change its color?
Or perhaps try emptying that Widget Area in Appearance > Widgets (although it seems like you don’t have anything there, curious).
If all else fails, with the Custom CSS upgrade you can change its background color / remove it altogether.
