Remove white space between multi-paragraph quotes

  Whenever I add a blockquote that includes multiple paragraphs, my current theme styles them as if they are separate quotes. The main text background is white and the background for quote blocks blue so it results in there being white spaces in between each paragraph of the blockquote. What I want is for the whole quote to have the blue background.

  One way to remove the white spaces would be :

  blockquote {
  margin: 0
  }

  However, that also removes the margin between the end of the quote and the start of the next paragraph block. What I am looking for is something that would remove the margins between quote block paragraphs but retain the margin between the quote block and the next paragraph block.

  As usual find a solution as soon as I give up and ask for help. Turned out the issue was when converting from the classic editor to the new gutenburg one that the custom html I added with the classic editor carried across. Created new quote blocks, copied the text across as plain text, and deleted the old blocks and the white space between paragraphs was removed.

  I found a solution straight after I decided to ask help. Turned out the issue was when converting from the classic editor to the new gutenburg one that the custom html I added with the classic editor carried across to the text in the blockquotes. For each affected post, I created new quote blocks, copied the text across as plain text, and deleted the old blocks – and the white space between paragraphs was removed.
